Julie Ullery -- School Nurse

Welcome to Shearer school.  I am hoping for a healthy year.  I will be your child's school nurse this year.  A little bit about myself.  I graduated from the Kettering college of Medical Arts in 1976 with an Associate Degree in Nursing.  Then in 1981 I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing.  In the spring of 1982 I started working for the Clark county Health Department in the area of pediatrics and 25 years later I'm still employed by them.  I am presently the only nurse in the Clark county School System that is affiliated with the Clark County Health dept.  What douse that mean for you and your child?  Your child is able to receive health dept. services free of charge in my office.  Below are some of the services I offer:

1.  complete Kindergarten and 6th grade physical. (I am not able to do sports physicals).

2.  Immunizations.

3.  Flu shots (Parents this includes you)  Fee for    service
