	Committees Committees are the grass roots of the planning and decision making at Shearer Elementary.  Parents, teachers and community members make up our committees on such topics as curriculum, instruction, assessment, student placement, homework, grading, safety, budget, staffing, etc. We need your ideas and suggestions.  Call today to join a committee. (Meets 3rd Tues at 3:00)			Shearer Decision Making Council Parents, teachers and the principal make up our Shearer Decision Making Council. All seats on this council are elected by parents and teachers. There are 2 parents that represent you (Jennifer Wright and Robin Arnett).  You are invited to attend, contribute to and witness decisions regarding policies, procedures and reports regarding your children unfold to make Shearer the best school ever. The SBDM is an advisory body to the principal.   (Meets 4th Tues at 3:00)
